How the Mountains Called Us Back, To BIR

Some trips begin with plans. Others? With a memory. After Kasol, we thought it couldn’t get better, until Bir called out to us. This time, it wasn’t about spontaneity, but about reconnecting with nature, with work, and with each other. What followed were 10 days that felt like a breath of fresh mountain air, literally and metaphorically.

We arrived to the scent of pine, the sight of clouds hugging the hills, and the unmistakable feeling that something magical was about to unfold. Mornings began with chai and chill winds, afternoons saw us in work mode, ideas flowing faster than the Wi-Fi, and evenings turned into karaoke marathons, café crawls, and laughter under starry skies. And when we weren’t grounded in work or warmth, we were soaring through the skies, quite literally, as we paraglided above the valley, hearts racing and eyes wide.

Bir didn’t just give us scenic views and thrilling adventures, it gave us time. Time to create, to breathe, to bond. It reminded us that the most powerful reset doesn’t always come from a holiday, but from sharing silence, stories, and sunrises with your tribe.

Some journeys are planned, others unfold. Bir was the latter, and we came back a little lighter, a little closer, and a lot more grateful.
