Every year, we pack our bags, move our workstations, and call a new place home. For many of us, Nepal was our first international trip, which made every moment a little more exciting.
For 15 days, Pokhara became our basecamp. Days started with coffee, and work sessions by Lakeside. Between deadlines and meetings, we explored local cafés, wandered unfamiliar streets, and soaked in views that never got old. One early morning, we made our way to Sarangkot and watched the sun light up the Mighty Annapurna. It was the kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists.
Our weekend in Kathmandu brought a different kind of experience. We visited Pashupatinath Temple, took part in a puja, and spent time taking in the city’s energy and history.
Nepal gave us mountain views, great food, plenty of laughs, and a long list of firsts. Most importantly, it gave us another reminder that the best part of these trips has never been the destination. It’s experiencing them together.
